Business Risk Management – Senior Risk Specialist, Senior Associate

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about risk management with strong communication and organizational skills, business acumen, not afraid of new challenges.

What you will be responsible for

  • Supporting regional and global risk assessments of products & services across all jurisdictions

  • Acting as a liaison for risk assessments projects (prepare workbooks, provide pre-read materials using Governance Risk Management and Compliance Software (GRC), produce meeting minutes, actively manage follow-up actions)

  • Collecting and collating data required during the risk assessment process, including but not limited to prior year assessments, Internal Audit reports, Assurance test results, Operational Risk events

  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships with Business Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance and Business stakeholders across the globe

  • Upkeep of GRC data model in the system

  • Support of broader Business Risk Management team in current projects and assignments, including but not limited to Issue Management and Incident Reporting.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to navigate and analyze Excel spreadsheets

  • Advanced PC literacy including PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office

  • Being comfortable in liaising with senior management

  • Background in risk & control (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance, Audit) is highly desirable

  • Previous experience in Risk Assessment will be an asset

  • Knowledge of GRC system Archer is highly desirable
