What’s the role?

Smart Automatons team is focused on delivering automation solutions to Finance Operations department. Using various automation technologies (eg Excel macros, MS Access databases, SAP scripting, Power Apps, and Power Automate) we deliver additional value to FO. Team consists of highly motivated developers who strive to provide the best possible solutions to help with automating manual tasks performed by delivery teams. Team members perform project work with an emphasis on individual responsibility to deliver projects end to end.

More specifically, your role includes:

  • Develop non RPA automation solutions (Excel macros, VBA applications, MS Access databases, Sharepoint solutions, SAP scripts) for Finance Operations (FO) and business stakeholders for their automation requirements.

  • Develop RPA (Robotics Process Automation) solutions using PowerApps/PowerAutomate meeting business and process requirements.

  • Maintain and support existing RPA and non RPA automation tools.

  • Meet end to end project requirements single-handed and deliver projects based on agreed deadlines.

  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder and project management skills.

  • Demonstrate quality, speed, and ownership while delivering the automation projects and follow up the prescribed project management methodology.

  • Effectively prioritize and manage project requirements, challenging stakeholders needs.

  • Conduct demos, training sessions, meetings redeveloped tools.

Dimensions& Key Challenges:

  • Managing expectations of stakeholders in terms of final product and timelines.

  • Ability to act ad-hoc if the situation requires it (e.g. crucial tool is down).

  • Working in Global Environment, often need to communicate via virtual spaces.

We'd hope to see as many following as possible on You CV:

  • 3+ years of software development working experience within a process or in an IT application development.

  • Hands on experience in MS office is a must. Experience in Visual Basic, MS Access, SQL, SAP scripting.

  • Experience in PowerApps/PowerAutomat would be an additional advantage

  • Experience in process documentation creation.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional solutions.

  • Strong and proven stakeholder management skills.

  • Degree in Engineering/ Master of computer application or any degree with technical certification would be an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with clarity and build strong working relationships.

  • Good communication skills and Fluent in English.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set own task lists and timelines.
