Your role

Are you a practicing Scrum Master? Do you want to work within an environment that has embraced Agile? Do you also enjoy analyzing and working with data from large data warehouses within credit/market risk, finance and related areas? Would you like to learn about how credit risk is reported and managed and become a subject matter expert in delivering credit risk related change?

If yes, you might be just the person we are looking for to help to:
• support our Product Owners by providing Scrum Master leadership for one or more truly cross-functional Agile Teams delivering front to back change
• capture and translate risk reporting requirements for regulatory and new business initiatives
• embed an agile, customer-centric culture to ensure we are creating solutions that meet or exceed our risk reporting needs
• capture the features, epics and stories in JIRA and oversee these through to go-live
• benchmark new risk reporting data to ensure it is fit for purpose to be used within our run-the-bank processes
• continue to transform our organization using Agile ways of working to achieve a best-in-class, Group Risk Control function

Your team

UBS has a brand new office located in Fabryczna Business Park near the center of Krakow. You will work as part of an international team located across Krakow, Zurich, London and Mumbai which is responsible for the strategic risk reporting product. Our team is part of the wider Group Risk Control organization and is a true agent of change for our Risk Control colleagues. We are a diverse team of specialists with different backgrounds and we enjoy finding and implementing first-rate solutions for our business.

Your expertise

• degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Technology or equivalent
• proven track record as an Scrum Master
• very good understanding of the project and software development lifecycle, experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
• ideally 5 years of experience working in a similar role within the banking industry, preferably in credit and/or market risk
• strong/excellent English language allied with great communication skills
• self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• previous experience with any of the following would also be a bonus:
- Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, SAP Business Objects
- SQL ideally with Oracle Data Warehouses utilizing Star Schemas
