We’re looking for a Business Manager for the following duties:
- maintain accuracy of Regulatory Reports Inventory in line with Regulatory Reporting Framework (RRF)
- support preparation of 3 Year Strategic Plan submission
- manage the monthly financial forecasting and workforce planning process, analyze monthly actuals to ensure they are in line with expectations and any discrepancies are identified and resolved
- analyze impact of allocation methodology changes and allocation keys used to bill Asset Management (AM), and review monthly billing to explain significant movements
- maintain organizational structure including reporting lines, cost centers and service catalogue
- support preparation of key presentations and other communications, ensuring appropriate messaging
- provide support with ad-hoc requests and projects
Your team
You will be working for the Chief of Staff (CoS) within C&ORC AM organization, and will closely collaborate with our regional and central teams.
C&ORC AM is responsible for providing independent oversight, challenge and control over the non-financial risks arising from Asset Management business activities in order to ensure compliance, conduct and operational risks are understood, owned and managed to AM's risk appetite.
Your expertise
• proven track record in the financial services industry, ideally as a business manager, financial controller or in similar roles
• experience in managing a broad portfolio of topics, eager to learn and with a strong “can do” attitude
• capable of working under pressure towards tight deadlines and ability to prioritize effectively
• solid grasp of data analysis and outstanding organizational skills
• excellent verbal and written communication skills with rapport-building and listening ability
• enthusiastic about working across different cultures and time-zones and with a wide range of stakeholders
• ability to interact, build and leverage relationships with different functional stakeholders proactively, anticipating needs of the senior management and find efficient and pragmatic solutions
• fluent in written and spoken English
