Your role
Are you well organized and ready to work in a dynamic environment? Are you passionate about European regulatory and governance topics? We are looking for a business manager in UBS Europe SE (UBS ESE) Group Compliance, Regulatory and Governance (GCRG) who:
• supports the UBS ESE GCRG Management Board member in its daily Executive tasks, e. g. structure and prepare management presentations for internal and external stakeholders and orchestrate reports from the functions in the MB member’s responsibility;
• maintains the UBS ESE GCRG organizational structure, documents inventory and intranet representation;
• manages the UBS ESE GCRG 3-Year Strategic Plan process, track functional costs and prepare annual core cycle incl. talent management;
• develops and maintains relationships with different UBS ESE and UBS Group stakeholders, in particular with UBS ESE Business Management and the business managers of the other Management Board members;
• drives continuous improvement and simplification of our processes and organizes functional townhalls and well-being initiatives;
• coordinates the Local Responsible Officers (LROs) for outsourcings in the Management Board remit and keeps close oversight over existing ORIs and KPCIs and
• supports in UBS ESE GCRG strategic projects and provides input to regulatory projects.
Your team
You will be closely working with the UBS ESE GCRG Management Board member and the UBS ESE Entity Governance Team and have strong interaction with regional and global colleagues. The Governance team is adviser and coordinator of corporate governance and manages standards and processes for the Supervisory Board. Additionally, the team implements strategic projects for UBS ESE GCRG. You can be located in any UBS ESE location.

Your expertise
• well organized and able to prioritize urgent and important tasks when various special assignments or work has been allocated
• knowledge about the bank’s control functions and experience with a matrix organization would be beneficial
• strong MS-Office skills and digital attitude
• good communication skills with excellent verbal and written English language skills
• the ability to deal with confidential information in a compliant manner
• an analytical focus and a "can do" mentality
• ability to build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and to work as a collaborative and proactive member of a team, also remotely
• a diligent way of working and consistently striving for optimization/streamlining of process and working practices
