As the Category Lead you will manage portfolio of contracts (average number of contracts: 85 depending on contracts’ segmentation) and handle new demands assigned to category. You will ensure that the Sourcing Strategy is aligned with Business priorities, manage tail end spend, maximize value from Operational Contracts, ensure continuity of supply through managing ad-hoc business requirements.The majority of Operational and Tactical Contracts in the portfolio are standalones, multisite, EFA’s and business Top Contracts.
You will manage spend estimated between 100 + M US$ total Actual Contract Value (ACV).
Accountabilities:

Contracting and procuring services as well as developing and managing local agreements

Applying leading edge supply chain management techniques

Applying supply/value chain analyses and modelling

Scoping local projects, and analysing CP business requirements and external market dynamics

Developing and executing commercial contract strategies as well as operationalising and commercially managing operational agreements

Manage one-off Purchase Orders

Reduce/rationalize number of Contracts/Suppliers

Deliver end-to-end cost savings impacting bottom line

Works on Short- and Long Form Model Contracts Library (MCL) Contract Template
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Category Buyer, with proven skills in sourcing, building strategies, negotiations/deal closing and contracting.
Successful candidate should be able to make complex decisions,
provide recommendations and solutions to the business stakeholder based on information/data, and be able to prioritize and organize multiple requests.
