Your role
Are you passionate about resiliency? Can you instil that passion in your team? We’re looking for someone like that to:
• Manage and develop a global team whose role is critical in helping UBS to deliver the service its clients expect
• Drive the BCM agenda of the Chief Digital Information Office (CDIO) to continuously improve confidence in the resilience of UBS' critical applications & services
• Chair the CDIO Tech BCM oversight forum, continuously driving improvements and maintaining buy-in from internal stakeholders to ensure that resilience standards are maintained in a fast-moving environment
• Present high-quality data on demand to Technology colleagues (at individual and committee levels) relating to the BCM capability of UBS' critical applications
• Drive testing of critical applications to ensure Technology targets are met
• Attend and present to Global and Regional Production Oversight Forums on the resilience of critical applications
• Manage and mature global Data Center testing strategy
• Oversee all Technology testing-related risk items
• Continuously and proactively manage UBS' System Recovery Plan estate in relation to Tiering, resilience and sign-off conformance
• Onboard new resources and ensure they are trained and ready to meet demanding targets
• Align the many different aspects of BCM governance to ensure that CDIO meets its BCM objectives efficiently

Your team
Tech Services BCM ensures that UBS has comprehensive recovery plans for its critical technology so UBS can continue to provide excellent service to its clients. You will lead a key team that sets high standards for maintaining and testing these recovery plans, and helps colleagues to follow those standards. You'll use your experience to gain buy-in from colleagues and drive continuous improvements in resilience and data quality. All the time, you'll be driving the maturity of UBS' technology testing program.
Technology BCM also plays a critical role in managing UBS' Site Technology Recovery Plans (STRPs) for critical Data Centers through a continuous program of exercising and updating.
Your expertise
• Proven experience of working in a senior BCM role in a technology function, ideally in the financial sector
• Proven management skills over several years, particularly working with remote teams.
• A thorough understanding of BCM principles
• Strong attention to detail in all tasks, particularly in assisting with Datacenter test preparation
• Enthusiastic with diverse skills who can successfully lead and work well with a global team
• An excellent communicator and presenter, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to quickly identify solutions and manage priorities when issues arise
• Quick to produce accurate, concise information to tight deadlines, and to present that information professionally and in the right way to the required audience
