Your role
Would you like to shape how the clients of the world's largest wealth manager can see their financial position on the digital channels? Are you excited about visualizing financial data of all kinds of instruments held by our clients, from the simplest of cash positions, to the most complex structured products, and all the transactions thereon? Do you enjoy putting yourself in the mindset of a wealth management client who wants to access and understand this information, from a one-second overview glance, to the most detailed drill-down?
We are looking for an expert in client reporting, to strengthen our team and further drive our global capabilities and to:
• interact with internal stakeholders, and even external clients, to understand and anticipate their client reporting needs
• continuously be aware of relevant developments and best practices in the markets globally, and of leading competitors (which are not only the traditional banks!)
• help to define and operate solutions that optimally answer to the clients’ needs and that set us apart from the competition
• work in a suitable role (e.g., as a business analyst, subject matter expert, or tester) in an international agile setting, and stay open minded and flexible to grow beyond your current strengths
• depending on your experience and capabilities, possibly lead an agile team
• provide operational support, in particular during high-intensity periodic reporting, e.g., at the year-end, to flatten workload peaks across the team
Your team
Channels & Platforms (C&P) leads the transformation of processes and tools to future-proof our digital setup and provide best-in-class solutions to our internal and external clients. Within C&P, the API Banking & Client Reporting crew makes it simple and enjoyable for our clients to understand all aspects of their global wealth situation, and to conveniently obtain banking-affine products and services in a strong ecosystem.
Your expertise
• degree from a reputed university, in finance or a quantitative science (e.g., mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, …)
• a keen eye for the beautiful, simple, and highly understandable visualization of complex financial data
• willingness to work side by side with IT colleagues and other stakeholders across the bank globally, in an agile setting
• a strong commitment to build up significant subject matter knowledge in this area over time and to embark on a multi-year journey on this topic – any pre-existing expertise in the area is highly appreciated
• fluent English required (spoken and written, with verified C2 level language proficiency preferred), German would be an asset
• an understanding of the intricacies of developing Single Page Apps, APIs and clean user interfaces for mobile and desktop channels is beneficial
• holders of CFA charter and/or CIPM designation very welcome!
• any previous experience working directly with wealth management clients (e.g., as a client advisor) gives you an advantage
