Who we are looking for

A talented and self-driven individual able to leverage strong VBA experience to manage a growing automation demand. As a apart of Process Optimization team, the individual will be required to develop, test and look for improvement opportunities within Poland Fund Accounting department. The successful candidate should have positive attitude to learn new State Street tools and development standards like Xceptor and SQL, Python etc. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior VBA Developer you will

  • Develop and maintain ongoing automation initiatives.

  • Maintaining existing code base and solutions.

  • Perform Project Analysis of requirements received for each development effort. Manage a list of development efforts over a dispersed number of business areas. Engage the existing development resources to ensure best practices are being applied and or promote new best practices.

  • Interpret business needs and support creation of new solutions in order to automate processes and create biggest time efficiency

  • Continually review and redefine development processes e.g. learn new methods. Prepare relevant project documentation according to agreed standards.

  • Provide regular status reporting to the project/program leads and management. Track, manage and escalate issues and risks.

  • Ensure projects are well prioritized and delivered on time.

  • Conduct adhoc reports, administration, projects and tasks as required.

  • Knowledge of Python, Xceptor, Sharepoint would be an advantage

  • Communicate effectively with others and conduct research where required

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-plus year experience with proven process automation using VBA.

  • 4-plus years of work experience.

  • Being familiar with object oriented programming.

  • Any other programming language knowledge would be a plus (i.e. SQL, Python,).
