Ensure formulation and components data within own specialist area in managed through its full lifecycle of introduction, reformulation and withdrawal to deliver business requirements in accordance with data quality standards, Shell processes and according to the target completion portfolio

Input and maintain formulation & components proprieties in the systems and Global Product Catalogue

Establish strong working relationship with component suppliers

Support Global Product Manager in managing their product components portfolio

Proactively monitor components & formulations portfolio health to minimize complexity across supply chain

Ensure Formulation data quality meets Shell, customer and legislative requirements

Support Technology Managers in formulations portfolio management

Implement change requests promptly and transparently including introductions, revisions, data quality misalignments and portfolio health activities

Work closely and effectively with colleagues in the extended network: Technology Managers, Additive Technology, Regulatory Chemistry and Product Management

Contribute to continuously improve data management process

Act and behave according to Shell Global Business Principles, Code of Conduct and HSSE Standards

Provide expert advice to colleagues on formulation data in my area

Establish strong working relationship with appropriate stakeholders

Proven ability to handle large quantities of data with accuracy and attention to details

Experience with different external stakeholders customers or suppliers

Ability to learn quickly, analyze problems/situations and suggest solutions

A background in physical or chemical product testing or product development is desirable.

Formal qualification in technical sciences (preferably Chemistry), engineering or mathematics would be an asset

Experience of product development in Lubricants business will be an asset

Familiarity with analytical tests and quality procedures

Knowledge of SQL reporting

Experience in use of data tools such Alteryx or Spotfire is highly desirable
