In this role, you have the opportunity to

initiate, lead and implement projects for The Global Knowledge Management Practice team at Philips. These projects focus on positioning Knowledge Management through impactful and creative communication activities. Also, you are responsible to make sure that documentation and knowledge is complete and ready to use by internal customers. Next to that you work closely together with the team to continuously improve and standardize the way we work.

Projects that you will be responsible for are lead through structural approach, using standard methodology and best practices to ensure seamless and successful delivery.

You are responsible for

  • The communications strategy and plan to position Knowledge Management in Philips
  • Executing the plan together with the team including the creation of communication assets (messaging, visuals, presentations)
  • Providing communication support to teams (Leader, KM Managers, Experts, Moderators) while they execute the Knowledge Management activation plan
  • Managing our own knowledge base to make sure it’s consistent and complete across our expertise areas
  • Managing internal projects and initiatives according to standard PM methodology
  • Gaining agreements on objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality, risks and requirements
  • Identifying improvement opportunities (based on your own expertise and feedback of others) to continuously improve and further develop the KM capability
  • Controlling the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting
  • Managing conflict and driving team collaboration to achieve project results and playing the role as linking pin between different organizational units to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the Knowledge Management capability.

You are a part of

Our Global Business Services EMEA Hub in Łódź, working with the Philips Knowledge Management team. Our focus is on supporting faster workflows and collaboration across departments, to enable leaner operations and improved results. 1000+ strong and growing, our Global Business Services EMEA Hub in Lódź teams speak 30 languages and represent 13 different nationalities, supporting our operations in 50 countries supported on a daily basis.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Experience in communications planning, execution (focus on digital) and asset creation is a must
  • Experience in Knowledge Management projects or initiatives is a strong advantage
  • Strong communicator who is able to work with all levels of the organization and who is able to translate complex issues in understandable and concrete messaging
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management and/or customer service management
  • PMP Certified Project Manager (preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management, Scrum or SAFe
  • Fluency in written/spoken English
