Your role

Do you enjoy working in a challenging dynamic and solution oriented environment ?
We’re looking for a Market Conformity Control Analyst to support our UBS Europe SE team on the following tasks:

• ensure the fulfillment of regulatory requirements and internal guidelines regarding market conformity
• support the ongoing development of the technical infrastructure and relevant processes and procedures
• communicate independently with the IT / Business function
• determine if transacted prices correspond to market price levels within specified thresholds using pre-determined methodologies

Your expertise

• University degree (Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics ) or equivalent professional experience
• ability of analytical thinking and problem solving thinking
• general understanding of database working principles and experience with analysis of data extracts
• practical skills to develop test cases and automate workflows
• programing skills (Python) preferable
• solid knowledge in financial markets products (Credit, Rates, FX, Equities, and Derivatives); Understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics and regulatory environment
• accountable and reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
• self-starter who is able to work both independently and within a team
• strong communication skills, situational analysis and decision-making abilities; Fluent in English, German (spoken and written), any other language will be a strong asset
• an approach which is practically-focused and flexible
• the ability to manage your workload according to business and operational demands
