The Supply & Logistics Coordinator – Precious Metals Analyst is critical to the success of SC&T business and in delivering upon the organization’s growth ambitions. The role supports both the sales sites (US, UK, Singapore, Germany) and manufacturing sites (US, Belgium and Germany) spread across the globe.
You will be responsible managing precious metal pool accounts - review and authorize/initiate transfers and invoice service fees, coordinating the supply and delivery of the metals to meet on-time delivery of catalyst to customers, and completing metal settlements on fresh catalyst sales and reclamation shipments. What We Need from You?
In this fast-paced exciting and challenging role, you will need to adapt to continuously changing forecast demand and production schedules (through perseverance, flexibility and resilience), pay meticulous attention to detail, and possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills to deal with daily global interactions.
- Monthly Reconciliation of metal balances – including pool accounts and customer accounts
- Monthly Reconciliation of G/L inventory and reserve accounts
- Support month-end closing by preparing accruals to recognize revenue/costs and journal entries for metal gains/losses and ins/outs
- Quarterly revaluation of inventory and reserve balances
- Review and advise on the precious metals section of sales contracts
- 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing, finance or supply chain is a plus; understanding of the catalysts business preferred
- 3 to 5 years broad SAP experience – SAP Modules FI, S&D, and MM; strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite
- An ability to quickly assess potential issues or scenarios despite an incomplete data set
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and drive to solutions/decision-making
- Self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build robust relationships with stakeholders, customers, and third parties.
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple competing objectives and meet tight/demanding deadlines
- English proficiency required
- 2nd shift (from 12 to 8:30pm) - not mandatory.
