Who we are looking for

We are seeking an up-and-coming leader to help us manage, track and execute new initiatives focused on reducing market data consumption and expense within the Global Delivery organization. Market Data is State Street’s second largest expense after staffing costs and continues to outpace revenue growth. Ideally, the GD Simplification / Market Data Project Manager will have experience managing complex, cross-company transformation initiatives and first-hand experience with Global Delivery operations and process engineering / re-engineering. Experience with market data consumption and distribution is also a plus.

What you will be responsible for

As GD Simplification / Market Data Project Manager you will

  • Create a structure (online documentation and core team communications) to track progress and escalation items for key initiatives

  • Develop reporting dashboards to apprise executive leadership and key business partners of program progress and risks

  • Develop support materials (playbooks and training materials) to facilitate execution of program milestones within individual business functions

  • Coordinate working sessions and status meetings and distribute meeting minutes

  • Highlight opportunities to further drive value within key initiatives

  • Document and communicate process re-engineering opportunities to improve productivity

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7 years in financial services industry; preferably operations and transformation

  • Project management / process engineering certification

  • Experience building SharePoint / Collaborate sites and training modules
