Your role
Do you have a keen interest in understanding and solving business problems? Are you looking for a job that gives you visibility into how Asset Management as a whole works? We are looking for someone like that to
• act as a Business Analyst for various regulatory programs in UBS Asset Management
• help business stakeholders understand the impact of the legislation on their business and processes
• capture, analyze and document business requirements and business cases, analyzing, simplifying, and challenging where required to ensure that the true business need is captured
• identify problems, analyze root causes, and suggest and evaluate solution options
• interface with IT on the solution design, assist IT and business in defining test cases and acceptance criteria, construct testing documentation and work with user groups to execute testing
• guide the solution and support all stakeholders through implementation and the early post-production stage until the project officially becomes standard business as usual
• work with IT, compliance subject matter experts, model developers, external vendors, project managers or other business analysts to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
• support, clearly communicate, and follow-up on investigation of questions, issues, defects and escalations
• facilitate and support the transition of Change Program into run-the-bank, by coordinating on business integration aspects such as operating model development, training & communication

You’ll be based in London, Hong Kong or New York (or Poland, Italy or Ireland) and work in our Front to Back Design and Business Analysis team, reporting in the global UBS Asset Management Transformation and Change function. Our team’s role is to help the business adapt to change through our four key focus areas: comprehension of the changes required due to legislation, communication of those changes to our business stakeholders, design of fit for purpose solutions, and delivery of change into the organization.
Your expertise
• a university degree in business, economics, data, IT, or another analytic field
•at least 2 years’ previous experience working in change projects as a business analyst / project manager with responsibility for creating business requirements specifications, process mapping, solution design, development of test cases, support for user acceptance testing, and training.
• Powerpoint and Excel skills a must – Visio a strong advantage
• strong analytical skills, solution and detail-oriented
• deadline-oriented and organized, able to structure and prioritize your work
• fluent in English. Ability to communicate complex issues succinctly and clearly both verbally and in written form.
• outstanding organizational and motivational skills and the ability to think and act across functions
• a flexible, tenacious team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, able to build collaborative relationships
• able to balance numerous tasks and competing priorities in a fast paced and demanding environment
• experience with Asset Management, Sustainable Investing, and/or regulatory reporting a strong advantage
