Your role
Do you have a proven track record of building enterprise web applications? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise-scale applications using the latest technologies?
We’re looking for a UX developer to:
•Collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
•Develop quality solutions for a high-profile client-facing application
•Enhance user experience by leveraging best-practice design tools and features
•Analyze root causes of incidents, and provide and document solutions
•Act as a mentor for more junior developers within the team, and perform peer code reviews
Your team
You’ll be working in the ETD CFT (Client Facing Technology) team in Poland. We provide client-reporting services to the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) business divisions of the UBS group, serving internal and external clients. Together as a team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements, in line with the established Corporate IT standards. As a UX developer, you'll play an important role in developing new UX solutions for our application. This activity forms part of the high-profile ‘Next Generation’ program to refresh/rebuild the entire ETD business solution, working collaboratively across many teams within both technology and the business. Latest concepts are being adopted, including migration to the Bank’s strategic Neo Portal, cloud, late-enrichment, and real-time solutions.
Your expertise
•Ideally 5 years of experience as UX Developer, focusing on React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
•Experience of building enterprise web applications is essential
•Additionally, experience with ag-Grid, Jest, Saga and Testing Library is advantageous, as is familiarity with Java and SQL+
•Able to produce secure, stable and performant code
•In-depth understanding of standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC, including code quality inspection and penetration avoidance. Familiarity with GITLab & JIRA beneficial
•Finance sector background a plus
