Why this role is important to us
The main task is to execute Resiliency related reporting for key business services: e.g. Fund Accounting, Settlements, Payments, Custody. This serves as an early warning indicator of our ability to absorb the impacts of potential disruptions to key business services. In turn, this drives recommendations to improve our operational resiliency and reduce related risks.
Responsibilities Include
- Work with innovative reporting techniques and tools to enhance the processing of information
- Improve reporting efficiency;
- Preparing data related to Resiliency MI, making updates in relevant databases (Access, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI);
- Production of MIs for key senior stakeholders;
- Following up actions arising from committee meetings;
- Propose and maintain Resiliency indicators ensuring completeness, accurateness and relevance;
- Maintaining respective action logs and charters;
- Perform or effectively accommodate relevant ad-hoc analysis;
- Provide administrative support for Resiliency related processes and projects;
- Taking part in strategic discussions and workload planning;
- Communicating and presenting professionally to stakeholders.
Specific Qualifications / Skills
- Team player, open mindset - to be able to work efficiently with the team on work on projects
- Analytical skills - ability to recognise problems, describe them, be able to find the reason and propose effective solutions, some experience with creating graphs and tools like Power Bi, SQL etc.
- Self-Motivation with positive way of thinking
- At least 2 years of professional experience (preferably related to Management Information, Data Analytics or reporting in a financial regulated organisation);
- Experience of reporting, with good presentation skills, using data visualisation software (MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, SQL, Tableau, Power BI);
- Confidence to engage with colleagues from different State Street locations;
- An interest in process optimisation and improvements is desirable;
- Operational Resilience experience will be an asset;
- Analytical/Consultation skills: the candidate should be able to take a step back from the available data and look holistically at the factors impacting any service delivery with the ability to “connect the dots” and work with Officers and other stakeholders to form an well-articulated resiliency opinion;
- Demonstrate commitment to the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture, including integrity and ethical values;
- Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in personal behaviour;
- Good organizational and administrative skills;
- Communicate confidently, effectively and clearly in both written and verbal forms;
- Excellent English is a must (B2/C1)
