Who we are looking for
The candidate will oversee Global Delivery and Asset Servicing Products teams within Performance and Analytics, Risk Analytics and Transfer Agency (approximate footprint between 500-700 employees) with possible expansion to additional functions as required by local organizational structure and span of controls. The role will require close cooperation with the global and regional functional leads and other relevant stakeholders to drive operational excellence and strategic objectives execution across subordinate areas. The individual will drive accountability within the Business for end to end ownership of activities and processes, timely and high quality deliverables, and continuous improvement.
What you will be responsible for
As the Poland Diversified Services Lead you will:
- Develop and build up a strong relationship with multiple internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Be responsible for execution of overall business plan in assigned areas.
- Effectively manage large number of teams involved in delivery and servicing of products in the entrusted areas, headed by respective Business Unit Heads. Ensure sufficiently trained staff is available to service the client/s and deliver quality service.
- Assume responsibility for the implementation of client specific projects (new business development review, planning & roll out).
- Manage relationships with the goal of meeting/exceeding service delivery standards.
- Work to broaden scope of services in Poland to support overall European and global strategy.
- Represent State Street by serving on internal and external committees and industry associations.
- Evaluate current methods and strategies with focus on improved process productivity and efficiency. Communicate and manage implementation of changes and improvements.
- Responsible for the direction and training of subordinate managers and staff.
- Resolve employee complaints.
- Evaluate subordinate managerial performance.
- Responsible for developing department budget and staffing projections.
- Monitor and approve department expenses.
- Assist the Branch Manager in various oversight tasks as member of State Street Bank International GmbH Poland Management Committee.
- Take on additional branch-wide projects where required.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Industry qualifications are a strong asset.
- 10+ years of management experience, preferably in a financial services organization. Experience in managing large teams and operations servicing multiple clients.
- Solid business unit management experience on complex clients requiring a high level of client interaction.
