Who we are looking for

The role will be responsible for supporting the EMEA Business by leading the team responsible for active project management of all incoming work migrations. This will be done in cooperation with the Global Footprint Strategy team and observing all the rules collected in the Migration Playbook.

The role will interact within Poland, EMEA and Globally, very often with Senior Management

This role can potentially be performed fully remotely from home within Poland area.

What you will be responsible for

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the EMEA Migrations Team and supervise delivery of all Migrations under the Team’s remit. Be the Team’s final gate keeper (eg. “go-no-go decision” on each transition) and the local escalation point.

  • Be the source of knowledge for all the Migrations Playbook related questions. Actively share this knowledge and build Migrations team visibility/recognition.

  • Consistently manage Transitions update to various Stakeholders (specifically PL Management Team), using various Steerco Meetings, Reports, Knowledge sharing sessions, etc.

  • Collaborate with wide range of senior stakeholders to improve pace of delivery and quality of execution by increasing efficiency through digitization and adoption of transformative ideas.

  • Manage escalations and proactively hold various stakeholders accountable. Escalate delays in a timely manner. Also continuously find alternate ways of driving resolution.

  • Consistently manage all EMEA and Global Team reporting. Offer improvements on the reporting process and cooperate with other Transitions Managers and wider GFS teams

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Drive development within the team through regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews & ongoing coaching. Navigate the team through change and help them adapt. Minimize attrition, maximize development & maintain employee engagement. Differentiate performance by providing input into the mid-year, end-year and TCP processes for all subordinates.

  • University degree

  • Formal project management certification (eg: LEAN, PMI or Prince II) would be an advantage

  • Experience delivering and supporting change programmes in the Financial Services/Banking industry (ideally work migrations)

  • Proven Team management experience

  • Experience with project management protocols, end to end project lifecycle and an understanding of good governance standards

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes with an ability to identify more efficient and effective ways of working and reporting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Successful track record in problem-solving

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines

  • Ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities

  • Ability to influence people without direct reporting lines

  • Negotiating skills/stakeholder management

  • Self-starting with the ability to operate without or take steps to define clear guidance on required outcomes
