About the job
You will as a Senior Solution Consultant join a scrum team in our Marketing-Innovation-Communication-Sustainability (MICS) release train currently consisting of six scrum teams. You will work close to the business in Arla leading the path to transform the way we are working – and this means that it will be your responsibility to balance the business needs with the selection, configuration, and adoption of packaged and Saas solutions. This includes:
- Work close with business, solution architects and developers transforming business needs into digital solutions
- Link business requirements to technical options, whilst balancing business needs, solution constraints, quality, user experience, cost, and operational efficiency & stability in a constructive manner
- Ensure that the solution designs lead to high quality, efficient and easy to use solutions, that meets the user needs
- Be creative and have the ability to help the team to develop innovative solutions
- Design and communicate data models, data structures and data migration rules and processes
- Ensure close collaboration with IT vendors and implementation partners
- Communicate with business and IT stakeholders across organisational levels, and convert complex technical contents into easily understood messages
Who are you?
You are a solution consultant ready to take the next step and join an agile release train building the future of Arla. You have technical skills within building IT solutions, and you understand how digital solutions play a significant role in today’s business. At the same time, you have a great interest in data, and you are experienced in working with data in large organisations leading you to understand how data are a key asset in large organisations. As we are working agile not only on team level but also on program level, you need to have experience with the agile culture and mindset. You are a team player with excellent communication skills – also in English – and collaboration skills. You manage your stakeholders and have a personal drive to succeed – together with others.
Furthermore, we expect that you have:
- Education at Bachelor’s or Master’s level within Information Systems, Computer Science or similar,
- Software development or data engineering/scientist background or other relevant experience in working with data and IT solutions,
- Solid experience with customisation and adoption of packaged software and Saas solutions, including global rollouts/implementations of the same
- Experience in working with data migration, databases, and data related technologies such as SQL and ETL
- Experience in working in an agile setup, preferably using SAFe,
- Focused and persistent approach to achieving goals in great collaboration with the agile team, Product Owner, IT Architects, Developers, and key stakeholders,
- Great facilitation and communication skills and you enjoy engaging with people at different organisational levels and with various backgrounds
- Experience from working in a multicultural and global environment/company,
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability as you will be working in an environment with uncertainty and changing circumstances,
- Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbally
