Who are we looking for

The Global Delivery Strategy team is looking to hire a Strategy Lead that will be responsible strategy, analysis and interaction with Global functional owners related to the execution of Global Delivery goals and objectives. This will include becoming a subject matter expert on Productivity, Demand management and new business integration across Global Delivery.

The individual will be required to have strong analytical skills which includes ability to interpret and provide valuable insight on data sets. Strong communication and presentation skills are also a key requirement of the role as the individual will present findings or outcomes to Senior and Executive Leadership across Global Delivery

What you will be responsible for

As GD Strategy Lead you will

  • Work with the business owners to build and shape Strategy initiatives, across GD Functions, including productivity, demand management, business process mapping and others

  • Demonstrate leadership in the cadence of data governance and insights.

  • Ability to understand finer aspects in operations and break down functions to identify areas of improvement and translate into Executive communications.

  • Prior experience in relevant operational functions such as Fund accounting, financial reporting, Middle office, (e.g., Trading & Corporate Actions) will be an advantage)

  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills

  • Develop a standardized approach and visualization to how Global Delivery functional owners understand business performance and where to re-shape or re-design operational excellence.

  • Ability to identify poor process design, and suggest improvements with the help of inhouse team members

  • Structure and build quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses that support Solution reviews and improve end state design

  • Apply strong business judgment to surface implications and practical, high impact options

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 + years of experience in financial services is required with at least 1 years of experience related to process transformation, in leading and implementing large scale BPM & operational excellence programs

  • Expertise in data management, analysis and interpretation is a must.

  • Ability to build stakeholder connect, effective collaboration and partnership capabilities and ability to influence at all levels of the organization

  • Strong organizational skills, negotiation and stake holder management skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and proven experience in working with large cross functional teams will be a plus

Additional requirements

  • Good understanding of state street application knowledge (upstream and downstream) will be an added advantage.

  • Technical skills in programming languages (Alteryx, SQL, VBA) are an advantage but not essential
