Principal Accountabilities:

Oversee Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area and ensure integration across the overall Supply Chain.

Ensure integration of Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area with all other relevant process streams (i.e.: Maintenance, Finance, Projects, etc.)

Represent Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics designs as Global Process Architect in relevant Group and external business forums.

Steer designs that lead to best in class operationally excellent supply chain activities with quantified and measurable business benefits

Lead the design of the next generation ERP in the Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area and ensure integration to other PGS streams and non-PGS process areas as relevant.

Lead the design of digitization and automation tools in Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area and ensure integration to other PGS streams and non-PGS process areas as relevant.

Ensure effective support for Integrated Support Model (ISM) by providing design steer and coaching of Supply Chain Process Experts from a functional design perspective.

Ensure development and maintenance of quality Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics standard designs with associated controls, performance metrics (KPIs), system enablers (ERP & connected applications/tools) and process related documentation (Process Maps, Recommended Practices, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Working Instructions)

Ensure validation of systems and process improvement proposals and provide relevant design support to ensure waste-free process execution as required.

Coordinate with IT on standards and technical developments and support the prioritization of related IT developments and budget allocation.

Provide leadership and direction to project deploy teams.

Support and drive deployment change management activities and communications, including support troubleshooting of post go-live issues as needed.

Participate and support business process validation workshops as applicable.

Ensure that Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics process designs align with roles and organization design rules.

Lead learning sessions and drive continuous improvement for Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area.

Proactive reviews of external market for process and system best practice opportunities for Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area and work with providers to deliver fit for purpose solutions.

Support project process design gap assessments for the Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area

Reviews need for and agree any local design requirements (I.e.: L&F needs) for Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area.

Agree and track any local design Step-Outs/Workarounds (SOWA’s) and drive Step-ins for the Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics design area.

Special Challenges:
The incumbent must have the ability to cultivate effective working relationships both with internal stakeholders and external supplier representatives when implementing new processes. This position requires close alignment with each of the CoBs (Classes of Business) to ensure integrated process solutions, process compliance and support in key areas.
Understanding integration requirements for business area use of SAP Finance, Project Systems (PS) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience working in Supply Chain Facilities and Logistics processes and have knowledge of other PGS process areas.

Working experience with SAP Materials Management module and Financial accounting module functionality and awareness of other modules (PS, PM, etc.)

Proven experience in identifying and resolving Supply Chain business process issues and developing Supply Chain business process improvement plans.

Experience in design of complex SAP and connected tools/applications solutions

Strong influencing, communication and networking skills, including the ability to tailor a complex message to different audiences.

Ability to deal with multiple parallel activities and priorities and constant change.
