Your role

Do you have a proven track record of migrating legacy java stack applications on to the Cloud? Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies?

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to:

•drive the cloud transformation of our mature on prem OTC Derivative back office applications to Azure
•contribute to the delivery of a new set of platform capabilities in the ‘Digital Core’ that will enable real time processing, analytics and structured workflow
•ensure the legacy portfolio of applications are well maintained up to the point of migration
•work as part of an agile team to develop high quality, automatically tested code, leading by example
•provide thought leadership across our initiatives to support and enhance our digital journey

Your team

We are a small agile team of engineers located in Krakow, Poland. We develop and maintain solutions that settle and confirm our Global OTC Derivatives portfolio. We operate collaboratively across regions and cultures to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

Your expertise

•full stack java developer with 10+ years’ experience
•experience of transforming on prem applications to Azure or similar
•good knowledge of the design patterns applicable to data streaming
•experience of Apache Flink/Apache Kafka and the ELK stack are highly desirable (Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana)
•experience of Flowable or similar BPMN/CMMN tooling also highly desirable
•knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript / React / Redux also applicable
•familiarity with CI / CD (TeamCity / Jenkins), Git / GitHub /GitLab
•proven track record in an agile SDLC in a large-scale enterprise environment
•hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
•strong organizational and communication skills
•fluent in English
