Who we are looking for

Senior Fund Accounting Conversion Analyst with VBA/SQL is responsible for the technical aspect of transferring accounting data from the external administrator’s system into State Street accounting platform (MCH).

The focus of the job is to build and service conversion automation process both for uploading the external data onto SSB accounting system and the subsequent reconciliation periods.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

• Development and maintenance of conversion automation tools

• Analysis of external administrator data

• Reconciliation of SSB records to Client Accounting System data

• Setting up and implementing appropriate data controls and testing scenarios in preparation for each migration

Required Qualifications

• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) knowledge – intermediary level at least, with proved experience, though not necessarily in professional developer role

• Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge will be treated as a valuable asset

• Highly PC literate with advanced Excel skills

• Min. 3 years of experience of professional experience in finance-related area, preferably related to fund accounting

• Knowledge of MCH or other accounting platform will be treated as a valuable asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a very good command of English

• Proactive approach to problem solving

• Attention to detail and quality mind-set.
