Your role

Are you an expert Java developer with experience in electronic markets? We’re looking for someone to help us build market facing trading technology for Exchange Traded Derivatives program. You will be:
•developing software components as defined by SDLC
•collaborating with other developments teams and technology partners to co-design solutions for electronic trading.
•performing unit and integration tests of software components for integration into larger subsystems, in accordance with the project's adopted standards
•documenting code and producing relevant documentation
•applying standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC (code repository handling, code inspection, penetration-avoidance, etc.) and uses tools approved by CTO
•supporting the systems (3rd level support) and resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
•coaching colleagues in more junior roles
•ensuring that produced code / system / service is secure, with good performance, stability and operational integrity
•delivering working results on timely basis and for regularly reporting to SWCM / PM as agreed on
•testing at a unit, integration performance and capacity level
•managing versions of software artefacts

Your team

You’ll be working in the Electronic Trading team—a global team focused on building best in class, market-facing technology solutions for Exchange Traded Derivatives program.

Your expertise

•order Management Systems or order state handling especially in relation to the Futures markets
•high performance, high availability, high throughput systems
•low-latency System Development
•expert Core Java skills
•network programming experience
•financial messaging protocols such as FIX

You are:
•comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
•able to assess new ideas and provide implementable solutions
