Your role

Do you rigorously test every application, before handing it over to production? We're looking for someone with that passion who can help us define the Program Test Strategy and own the delivery of Automation testing for Risk Regulatory project:

The ideal candidate would:
• Define and own the automation test strategy and test automation framework
• Collaborate with agile feature teams to deliver a jointly owned set of automation test cases
• Develop and promote best practices in test automation and ensure their adoption among all teams
• Develop a set of metrics for automation testing for each release, and define and produce status reports for the management

Your team

You’ll be working in the Finance, Risk and Analytics Service (FRAS) Technology team in Krakow, Poland. Part of the larger Group Technology organization at UBS, FRAS Technology delivers quality, innovative solutions that support our Group Functions business partners in achieving their operational goals. Your expertise

• hands-on experience in test integration and regression automation tools; experience in developing automated solutions for integration and regression testing
• experience in database testing using SQL preferably using 'Toad for Oracle'
• hands-on experience in testing distributed server-side applications
• possess hands on experience in agile and DevOps tooling like Jira workflow processes, Gradle, Bamboo, Test Groovy , Teamcity, etc.
• an attitude to debug issues and provide solutions to the issues raised while testing and having a “Can do” attitude with an eye for Quality
• mindset to be always tuned to collaboration across scrum teams and cross functional teams.
• aware of latest trending best practices, tools, techniques, tips, and tricks in automation testing.
• experience in creation and execution of automation testing strategies and framework
• experience in automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and uncover performance problems early, well before code is released into production
