Job Overview
The purpose of the role is to manage the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) process for Europe Headquarters (HQ), and leverage multiple systems (Alteryx, SAP, Mosaic).
Responsibilities
- Work with payroll teams internally including the Global Mobility team and external providers to validate actuals and anticipate future changes
- Advise accounting treatment for payroll
- Recommend accruals according to the past month's actual analysis (most C&B received from counterparties with one month lag) and ensure completeness of entries
- Primary contact for Compensation & Benefits queries from FP&A, Function Finance Managers, and Finance Project Managers
- Ensure accurate and timely reports are presented to stakeholders, including reconciliation
- Support FP&A in reconciling SAP with Mosaic (FP&A tool)
- Ensure timely execution of monthly closing activities when applicable
- Drive the mapping process between employee costs and Functions (management accounting), leveraging HR systems and working in close partnership with FP&A
- Ensure Master Data in the system is maintained (GL categories, Business Partner numbers, cost centers etc.)
- Perform administration role for Alteryx system
- Review monthly KPIs, service performance, and metrics in partnership with the Line Manager and external teams
- Support the annual Bonus reconciliation process: liaise with counterparties across the globe to collect or cross charge cost
Qualifications/Requirements
- Min. 3 years of experience on independent position within the Accounting or Audit Department requiring accounting knowledge
- Experience in Financial Reporting Systems and Databases – SAP/HFM, Alteryx will be a huge asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders from a range of functional backgrounds
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS or local GAAP
- Action and result oriented, attentive to deadlines
- Self-starter with solid problem-solving abilities
