Where you fit in:
A Digital Channel Specialist is a role in Customer Operations and is responsible to continually support Digital Agenda to ensure customer success both in on-boarding and ongoing consumption of Shell’s digital products/channels (API, Mobile Payment, Electronic Data Transfer). The specialist gets involved in change and/or enhancement requests to application landscapes/infrastructure.
The purpose of this role will be to ensures incidents are appropriate escalated and resolved while at times also providing deep technical expertise to troubleshoot issues.

What’s the role:

Support implementation of technical interfaces and/or design improvements.

Maintain and improve process / design in existing and new assets (e.g. BCI Heavy, S2S EID, API, Mobile Payment, Card Services) through customer engagement and providing feedback.
Principal Accountabilities:
-
Analyze customer process need in implementation engagement and provide solution to meet business objective;

Coordinate directly with our clients to transition enrollment to a file sharing platform and provide ongoing file data management support,
-
Communicate effectively with the client on major milestone to keep them updated on their onboarding progress,
-
Build relationships with software development and operational teams to gain an understanding of application,
-
Support business negotiations with technical knowledge,
-
Lead and/or support the delivery of the change requests in digital scope; ensure appropriate support for successful deployment of the new technology.
Requirements:

Fluent in Dutch C1 and English B2
-
Strong customer focus & commercial mindset,
-
Understanding of API – working and connecting with API features
-
Strong networking within local/ global Marketing / IT departments,
-
Skilled in technical and analytical area; IT background is an asset,
-
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
-
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
-
Delivery of continuous improvement to own scope.

Any technology business analysis or development experience is an asset

Retail, Global Commercial, SFS business knowledge, would be an asset
