EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

The opportunity

This opportunity is for a strong digital technology strategist to work with business and technology leaders to envision how technology transforms the markets, products and capabilities of the business and enables overall business strategy. In this role, you will drive the execution of the organizational strategy for Client Technologies Operations & Support function.

Your key responsibilities

• Works with business and technology leaders to envision how technology transforms the markets, products and capabilities of the business and enables overall business strategy

• Develops and delivers a vision around how digital assets will transform business models and fulfil those business and external stakeholder needs, goals, opportunities and challenges.

• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the strategy and execution

• Take responsibility for developing product-based branding within Client Technology and across entire EY incl. respective assets

• Monitor external media and industry to identify and craft key stories in line with our SAP Domain messaging and positioning

• Support product releases and announcements

• Scouting and spearheading for new communication approaches and implement selected methods to improve reach and access new audiences

• Develop strategies to position our work along the EY leadership team

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, a Person with 5 to 8 years of experience in Technology Industry, having expertise in development and execution of a Technology Strategy for a business function, preferably in the Service Management / Managed Services industry.

You will also be:

• A team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Constantly updating yourself about new industry offerings as well as market conditions

• A winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to the stakeholders

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Knowledge of and ability to define, prepare and justify high quality business cases and value propositions with the appropriate level of detail, including identifying cost and benefit categories

• Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and processes of storytelling. Ability to use storytelling and presentation methodologies

• Knowledge of and ability to plan, develop and communicate effective digital strategies, solutions and action plans, driven by an assessment of both, the Technology environment and future business direction.

• Knowledge of and ability to review new developments in key emerging technology.

• Strong project management skills, the ability to prioritize own workload and proactively manage expectations of both the team and stakeholders

• Excellent attention to detail, a commitment to deliver to deadlines and adherence to branding standards

• A team player comfortable working with a global team

• A self-starter with a drive to seek out and participate in opportunities to learn the latest and best practices.

• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities, with experience presenting and/or communicating directly with senior leaders

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Technology Strategy degree (or equivalent area of study or experience)

• Experience communicating with executive leaders

• Experience working in the technology industry, preferably in Service Management / Managed Services delivery
