Who we are looking for

With immediate effect we are looking for an experienced Policy Specialist to join our Finance Regulatory Reporting team in Krakow or Gdansk. Successful candidate will be responsible for policies affecting the Regulatory Reporting. This activity comprises the ongoing monitoring and support of the implementation of applicable international and national regulatory changes within various State Street entities.

What you will be responsible for

As Policy Specialist you will:

  • Monitor and support of the implementation of applicable international and national regulatory changes within various State Street entities: State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI), especially SSBI Luxembourg branch, and State Street Europe Holdings Germany (SSEHG KG)
  • Ensure the ongoing analysis & communication of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Cooperate with Compliance and Legal Departments with regards to new regulatory requirements and requests
  • Work together on policies implementation with Regulatory Reporting Team, Project Team, ICAAP Team and Recovery and Resolution Planning Team
  • Ongoing input and review of the internal documentation (Strategies, Policies, Procedures) documentation
  • Support update and review of external documentation
  • Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis, support and quality control of extraordinary supervisory requests affecting the Regulatory Reporting (e.g. Resolution Planning)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Business or Legal
  • Banking apprenticeship (desirable)
  • Ideally around 4 - 6 years of experience in the regulatory reporting environment with specialist knowledge of Regulatory Reporting
  • Specialist knowledge of Banking regulations
  • Fluency in English and German
