As a UI/UX Designer within the global Security, Compliance & Observability department in Technology Platform Engineering & Operations organisation, you will drive the excellence in understanding the customer needs, user interface design and intuitiveness to bolster development of forward-thinking security products.
This global role has a unique opportunity to shape the future of an enterprise-wide vulnerability management programme in a very large, heterogenous environment comprising of hundreds of thousands of IT assets across on-prem and cloud in a leading financial services company with $40T+ of assets under custody. The role holder will own areas such as requirements collection and definition, creating user-friendly application workflows, design of intuitive and visually pleasing graphical interfaces and other creative content for internal-facing audiences. Apart from that, you will be working alongside Security & Compliance Product Manager, IT and the Engineering team on translation of customer feedback into functional requirements to support the the customer-centric process of creating security software, so good interpersonal skills are a must to succeed in this position.

What you’ll do:
- Work with Software Developers, Security Engineers and Product Managers on the design of and implementation of UI and UX for the software products under development, in line with State Street Design System and brand guidelines
- Work with internal customers on understanding their needs and translating them to product requirements and user stories
- Create logos, layouts and graphics for Confluence, Sharepoint, Yammer, internal communication templates, user guides
- Create interactive prototypes and present them to key stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the visual side of the existing products
- Analyze customer feedback and advise Product Managers and Product Owners on UX and workflows
- Maintain internal communication channels like newsletters, blog posts etc.
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree in UI, UX or graphic design
- Demonstratable portfolio of UI and UX design
- Experience working with Photoshop, Powerpoint, Figma, InVision, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar design tools
- Very good written and verbal communication skills with focus on international, cross-functional environments
- Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements
- Customer-centric approach
- Strong attention to details, esthetics and quality of created content
- Previous experience in working in Agile methodologies will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS will be considered a plus
