The opportunity

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialists willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on Microsoft Stack and Azure Cloud.

Your key responsibilities

As a Technical Lead:

• you will be responsible for building robust solutions for extracting, transformation and integration of data that enable our clients make efficient decisions with ease
• You will implement efficient solutions on Cloud using large amount of data from various sources
• You will lead data engineers in various projects
• You will be making significant technical decision, to move our client to next stage of data engineering

Skills and attributes for success

Solving complex business problems at large scale. Participating in a cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains. Interacting with data engineers, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 9+ years of experience in data engineering
• Experience in T-SQL / PL/SQL
• Experience in cloud data solutions: Azure / AWS / SnowFlake
• Understanding of design techniques of relational databases, ETL as well as data concepts such as Data Marts, Data Warehouses (e.g. dimensions modelling)
• Very good English (verbal and written)
• Experience with version control system (GIT, Azure Devops, SVN)
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Understanding of data management concepts
• Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data

Nice to have:

• Azure / AWS / Snowflake certificates in area of data engineering and architecture
• Knowledge and experience in data visualization tools like Power BI, ClickView, SAP BO
• Knowledge and experience in Graph DB, NoSQL
• Knowledge and experience in data streaming platform
• Experience in enterprise-class solution implementations
