Your role

Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have strong leadership skills and know how to motivate people? Do you have the know-how for analyzing financial information? We are looking for someone like that to help us:
– lead a team of 5 business analysts in the broker review and client interactions reporting space for the UBS Investment Bank (IB)
– manage the day to day relationship with the senior management of the IB and their salesforce, supporting our internal clients with broker review and interactions related information
– engage in reporting projects providing our stakeholders with value add analytics
– ensure the team can process in a timely and accurate manner new broker review and interactions data, review any inconsistencies in the underlying content, identify data integrity issues and conduct analyses
– drive client MI projects, by coordinating milestones, interacting with business and IT, with the goal of improving our reporting processes and covering our stakeholder requirements

Your team

You will be managing the RAS IB Client Broker Review team in Kraków. The team is part of Reporting & Analytics Services (RAS) within Finance, a global unit of business analysts and subject matter experts, covering any kind of reporting needs within the bank. Our main stakeholder are the COO-, CFO- and client-office, as well as the distribution business and the senior management of the IB.

Your expertise

You have:
– a university degree in accounting, business administration, economics, computer science, information systems or a similar degree with an economics- or informatics-related context
– at least 3 years of experience as a team lead
– at least 3 years of experience as business analyst, ideally in the financial industry
– proficient experience in MS office applications
– knowledge in reporting tools like Business Objects, Tableau, Alteryx, MicroStrategy or PowerBI
– strong communication skills and know how to turn technical concepts and analytical results into simple and concise messages for business management

– experienced in leading and motivating a team
– able to foster an entrepreneurial and an ownership thinking within your team
– very pro-active, know how to get things done and able to step out of your comfort zone
– owning projects, can actively follow up and communicate with people of all levels of seniority
– able to lead your team with an agile mindset and foster a culture of innovation
– able to apply technical understanding to practical problems, acting as go-between for business and IT
– methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
– an excellent team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment
– fluent in English
