Your role

Do you want to redesign our Bug, Issue and Requirement Management estate with the move new tools as well as having a direct impact on decommission of legacy software?

We are looking for someone, that:
• work in different roles across the whole solution lifecycle (system analysis & technical design, frontend- & backend-development, system integration, documentation, third level support)
• propose and implement technical concepts that meet both the stakeholder and internal control requirements
• work with operation, support, and product manager to ensure system availability, functionality and performance meet Customer and Risk requirements
• co-ordinate between multiple teams to deliver, enhance new or existing platforms whilst ensuring tooling integrates with existing Build Chain products
• manage application roadmap related activities
• enable automation for repetitive tasks and reporting

Your team

DevOps Platforms provides all the tools needed within IT to do their core business - the development and lifecycle management of software (Demand & Portfolio Management, Project Management, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing and others).

You will work within Collaboration Tools team which is responsible for enabling all UBS IT delivery peers to be aligned and effective, follow the best work management principles while adhering to compliance requirements.

Currently we support multiple Atlassian, integration, reporting and migration products, with primary focus on migration activities to the new tools as part of Agile Transformation, compliance and decommissions.

Your expertise

• ideally 1+ years of hands-on experience with Java/Groovy, Atlassian SDK, Python, Linux environment, complex Databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and Azure Cloud
• proficient with IT delivery tools, such as GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Git, ServiceNow
• experience with development of custom data and API integrations
• ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
• confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
• capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
