You are responsible for

  • Manage or support the end to end design, development and deployment of programs in line with planned budget, resources and timelines, working effectively with members of the project team

  • Gathers and documents requirements for learning products and identifies necessary functional components such as quick step guides, learning services checklists, delivery specialist/instructor guides, collaborative learning environments

  • Works cooperatively with delivery specialists and subject matter experts to generate ideas for creating engaging learning activities

  • Creates advanced simulations and other learning activities to effectively teach concepts and technical/clinical skills, as appropriate, to the learning objectives for the project

  • Responsible for effective and high quality learning experiences that meet the impact they are designed to have

  • Participate or lead in internal capability building initiatives and Philips wide improvement projects

  • Assist Learning & Talent Partner or Service Education Manager with creating the intake for learning in consultation with business stakeholders

  • Shape Philips wide learning standards and quality assurance

  • Most likely works on medium sized projects of low to medium design complexity or works with more senior consultants on a large program

  • Manages learning projects end to end in accordance with agreed conditions of time, cost and scope using Philips Project Management Standards and tools

  • Contributes to demand planning and forecasting with regard to development and maintenance of learning interventions

  • Engages with Subject Matter Experts to extract high quality learning content and manages the Subject Matter Experts’ input and feedback in the end to end process

  • Designs learning solutions: creates content outline for proposed learning solution, sets specifications for development of the materials and takes the delivery approach and channels into consideration in the design phase

  • Performs detailed quality assurance on developed learning solutions, considering learning effectiveness and user experience

  • Creates appropriate assessment strategy for learning solutions and supports Senior Learning Consultant in measuring the impact of learning where relevant

You are a part of the Philips University Learning Consulting & Design team.

Your main stakeholders will be colleagues from the Philips University, Philips People Services and external vendors.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, ideally in a related field (such as Learning, Psychology, Educational Science and Technology, Counselling or Teaching) with over 12 years of experience.

  • Customer focus: use deep listening and personal learning insights to understand stakeholder, business and performance needs and consult on learning solutions.

  • Operational Excellence: continuously raise the bar in learning by challenging based on understanding the needs against our strategic direction.

  • Commercial Acumen: perform the learning intake to meet customer needs while managing all projects within targets of scope, time and budget.

  • Stakeholder Management: effectively identify key stakeholders and manage them such that might be expected from a true learning expert and a business partner.

  • Communication: have strong verbal and written skills and am recognized as an effective communicator.

  • Team Player: collaborate in an effective way in a global environment.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of current best practices and thought know how around the field of learning and especially in the design of learning

  • Designs learning solutions using knowledge of the functionality and options available in industry-standard Learning Management Systems and other learning technology platforms

  • Uses knowledge of data gathering and reporting tools to inform reporting requirements of various types of learning interventions

  • Experience of (partly) owning / leading learning projects from idea through implementation, with evidence of business impact

  • Creates solutions in alignment with Delivery and Learning Administration
