Who we are looking for
Looking for an individual with experience in the financial services industry focused in any one or more of the following areas: controls design and effectiveness evaluation; operations; risk management, regulatory compliance, and project management. You will be a part of the Business Risk Management organization. You will work with First and Second Line colleagues to ensure an effective Risk Control Self-Assessment program (RCSA) is conducted and completed timely. You will work with various Global Delivery, Alternatives and Institutional Services business units to make improvements to the existing RCSA process, and enhance the Risk Excellence culture.
Why this role is important to us
The RCSA is the process for the identification, assessment and measurement of non-financial risks. Non-financial risks include the following three risk categories: Operational Risk, Technology and
Resiliency Risk and Core Compliance Risk. The RCSA drives various risk mitigation programs at the bank. The RCSA team in Business Risk Management you will be joining coordinates and facilitates the annual RCSA process for several of the largest business divisions at State Street.
What you will be responsible for
As First Line Risk Consultant – Assistant Vice President you will

Execute on the semi-annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for numerous IS, GD and Alternatives risk units in accordance with the RCSA standard

Assist with the evaluation of first line risks and controls (including but not limited to, risk ratings, validating controls with the business)

Continuously develop deep knowledge of core product and services, processes, financial markets and technology

Interact with and report risk related issues and progress to senior management

Lead and/or actively participate in committees and risk management projects as needed

Support various Legal Entity Risk Assessments

Education & Preferred Qualifications
