About this role:

Data Analytics & Reporting, Senior Support Analyst is responsible for using a variety of ETL tools to provide data structure, data enrichment, data extracts, and data analysis in support of the Global Procurement organization as a member of the Global Procurement Analytics (GPA) team. Specifically this position will help enable and improve the PACE data lake which provides Center of Excellence reporting across Biogen's Global Procurement footprint.

What you will do:

• Data management and maintenance of the procurement spend cube and savings systems providing category-focused support
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
• Develop presentations to communicate data to the broader organization with an ability to present high level overviews helpful in aligning expectations
• Create strategic visualizations of data with minimum guidance
• Facilitate meetings with category managers and business stakeholders leveraging industry terminology
• Management and maintenance of the global procurement eRFP system
• SharePoint site maintenance and development

Qualifications

Who You Are

As a Data Analytics & Reporting, Senior Support Analyst you should possess the following characteristics:

• A Master level degree in Data Science focusing in Analytics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in basic analytics and 2+ years advanced ETL, extract, transform, load
• Prior experience working within a procurement function preferred
• Proven experience with detailed data analysis and an ability to quickly assess and draw conclusions from complex data sets
• Ability to wrangle and blend data from multiple systems
• Ability to assess and build capabilities such as snapshots, KPI trending
• Proven experience in Primary and Secondary data modeling and enrichment in a Data Lake environment
• Automation and data modeling skills
• Experience with basic programming or coding knowledge for analytical calculation development application purposes
• Experience with data storage tools ideally Snowflake or SQL,
  Experience prepping data in Tableau, Alteryx, R, Python, Informatica, Macro, and VB is a nice to have
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficient with other MS Office products, including Outlook and PowerPoint
• Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle a plus
• Experience with eRFP system administration preferred
• Experience with SharePoint online site development preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
