Your role
Work within a fast-growing global team of analytically savvy specialists who design projects, which create and leverage "alternative data" to help investment professionals make better decisions. The role primarily is focused on maintaining our project documentation and workflow, resulting in our content being distributed to clients. The role also maintains the accurate reporting of business KPIs. In addition, at times there will be work to help investigate and prepare aspects of project design. This position provides essential assistance to global sector teams. As such, other duties, such as client interaction, problem solving skills, data checking, project design, and creating PowerPoint slides from alternative data, will also be utilized. Highly visible role with room to grow and expand.
Your team
You’ll be working in UBS Evidence Lab based in Krakow global client coverage as a member of the UBS Evidence Lab Alternative Data Strategy team. The team is organized by sectors, such as Consumer, Industrials, Healthcare, Financials, Tech-Media-Telco, Environment-Social-Governance (ESG) or Macro. The team acts as a nexus between clients, data, and technology, which leads a diverse range of opportunities to drive positive impact across the firm and for our clients. The Data Strategist team designs projects leveraging and creating alternative data sets across existing Evidence Lab frameworks and new solutions. We work closely with our stakeholders to create commercially valuable insights for investment decision makers. In addition to designing alternative data assets, which feature in thousands of UBS research reports each year, the team works with institutional investors to help them use and incorporate Evidence Lab data in their investment decisions. To support your work in the team, we provide ongoing training on Evidence Lab’s industry leading portfolio of alternative data techniques and capabilities.
Your expertise
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly organized with accuracy of manual work
- Good attention to detail, with a 'do whatever it takes' to get the job done attitude
- Good communication skills (Both written and verbal)
- Comfortable with large volumes of manual data entry, but will try to mix things up as much as possible
