Your role
Are you an expert when it comes Mainframes? Do you have a track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs?
We’re looking for a Tech support analyst to:
• Provide 24x7 Incident and Problem Management support of GWM Platforms.
• Provide technical expertise to facilitate investigation of complex technical issues.
• Uses technical knowledge to provide solutions to complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Leads technical team in support of operations teams and support engineers by driving investigation of Incidents and corrective action follow-ups using an ITIL standards-based methodology.
• Facilitating weekly problem management meetings with Sr. technical staff reviewing root cause and corrective actions
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
• Maintain a knowledge database
Your team
You’ll be working in the CPOS & Advisory Tools team in Poland.
CPOS(Client Position) is a central source of client position and balances to support the client performance reporting group.
CPOS generates performance calculation based on customizable date periods and dynamic aggregation of accounts.
Performance calculations are available on an account-level as well as on an asset-class level.
It has additional functionality to provide end-of day valuations for asset-based reporting for the current business date or for an as-of date requested subject to limitations on historical data available.
CPOS maintains historical information on client activity and position balances processed at end-of day
Advent is the Software that deals with Report Generation. Advent tool does the reporting of portfolios of High Net-worth Individuals through APR (Advent Portfolio Reporting) & PWM (Private Wealth Management) applications. Advent Portfolio allows the Financial Advisor to analyze and provide information on total client’s assets.
This application uses three environments namely Mainframe, UNIX and Windows. It’s main purpose is to Generate Report for Client’s account based on the information given by Financial Advisor .The Main purpose of Mainframe is to generate data and transfer it to UNIX Environment based on System and Account level.
Your expertise
• Mainframe Developer Experience: Programming skills: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, MQ Series, Easytrieve
• Experience in Endeavor, IBM problem determination tools such as File manager, Fault analyzer etc.
• Experience in Production Support
• Experience in change management and incident management tools.
• Ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-up
• Ability to support multiple mainframe applications simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively run a triage call to resolve issues on time within SLA deadlines.
• Proactive in identifying, escalating, and addressing project issues and risks
• Experience in coordinating with offshore/onshore teams and delegating work
• Excellent Problem solving skills and an Entrepreneurial Attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meeting facilitation and discussion moderation skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
