Your role

The successful candidate will support engineering and perform hands-on operations tasks in order to automate Azure based cloud service solutions and its integration with the UBS infrastructure.
Additionally, the candidate will be managing, driving and co-defining the deliverables of the application technology onboarding framework.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Cloud Application Technology Onboarding & Automation team which is part of the Technology Services complex: Automation Services. Our team provides tooling and workflows that saves thousands of hours in BAU operations and drives down process waste, benefiting UBS as a whole. You’ll play a significant role supporting our ‘Cloud First’ principle for application development and new technology adoption.

Your expertise

• Broad knowledge of Cloud (SaaS, IaaS and PaaS) solutions is a plus; extensive partner/vendor management experience is also welcomed.
• Experienced with Microsoft Azure and portal
• Programming in Azure / Microsoft capable languages
• Strong understanding of Service Management, CMDB and inventory best-practice
• Understanding of System Monitoring & Management
• Agile service management experience in running feature teams with Kanban, SCRUM or other Agile methodology
• Good knowledge of SDLC principles/standards
• Basic knowledge of CI / CD processes
• Strong work ethic, with a passion to determine root cause of problems/issues
• Outstanding communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
