Your role
Are you an analytical thinker? Do you have a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
• Create test scripts and scenarios to support thorough testing of our analytics reports;
• Execute first-round tests for all reports and MI developed for the People Analytics team to ensure they meet data quality standards as well as functional & technical requirements;
• Test analytics solutions built across a variety of applications including Tableau, Business Objects, Excel, Alteryx, VBA and Python;
• Plan, organize, and control all test activities on behalf of People Analytics and take responsibility for achieving the defined test goals;
• Identify opportunities to innovate testing solutions for our clients, leveraging new methods/technologies where appropriate;
• Collaborate across the department, in particular with People Analytics data experts and process owners, to drive high quality outcomes for our Business Intelligence products
Your team
You’ll be working in the People Analytics department which consists of highly skilled analytics and business intelligence professionals. Specifically you will work in the Development team, which is responsible for creating business intelligence tools and dashboards for consumption by internal clients across the UBS Group. The People Analytics team is spread across the world with the largest groups in London, Zurich, and Krakow; the Development team is predominantly based in Krakow.
Your expertise
• Min. 2 years of experience in a data analytics role – either as a developer of MI reports, a testing specialist or as a data analyst
• Experience with HR / Workforce data would be advantageous
• Familiar with software development life cycle (SDLC)
• At least basic level of Tableau / PowerBI or other business intelligence / data visualization tools
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, GIT, Business Objects and/or Alteryx would be an asset
• Analytical with strong attention to detail
• A strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing (you can also explain technology to non-technical audiences)
• Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a demanding environment
