What the day will look like

• Regional EMEA SME for technical escalation for all Network Infrastructure teams.
• Architecture/design and implementation experience in new LAN/WAN deployments for large corporate environment and Data Center solutions based on Aon architectural standards.
• Familiar with the concept of new SD-WAN and SD-Access networks from any vendor (Velo SD-WAN preferred), any experience in designing, building a configuration and final handover to the production will be a plus
• EMEA Technical SME/product owner for identified/assigned Network Service such as WIFI, LAN, DC, DNS/DHCP, VPN/Client Connectivity.
• Project Delivery ownership/responsibility for Regional Projects.
• Training and knowledge sharing with Regional and Global team members.
• Assisting on new technology initiatives, Proof-of-Concepts and service development.
• Responsible for enabling newly deployed services with handover documentation to be shared with the CIS Operations team (CIS-OPS)

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Ability to work across geographies and time zones
• Experience in architecting/designing, implementing and managing Enterprise Networks and Data Centers.
• Experience supporting 250+ site Global WAN Infrastructure using multiple connectivity transport technologies such as DIA, MPLS, ELAN, EVPL, IP-Sec VPN, DMVPN
• Experience as a technical hands-on employee.
• CCNP Certification or JNCIP expertise level required.
• CCIE Certification or JNCIE Certification is a plus.
• Good written and fluent verbal communications skills are necessary.
• Highly organized, structured, and process oriented; team building skills a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business/technical teams.
• Experience troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN & application performance problems to resolution in multitasking environment. Layer 1 through Layer 7
• Security policies and technologies knowledge

Hands on 5+ yrs. of experience in one or all of the following:

• Cisco Nexus 7k, 9k, Cisco 6800/9200’s, Cisco ASR/ISR routers,
• Aruba Wireless Infrastructure, Mobility Master appliance, Mobility Controllers, Instant Access Points, Remote Access Points, Airwave, ClearPass appliance, strong knowledge in AOS 8.x,
• Juniper SSL VPN, Juniper QFX, Juniper EX , Juniper MX platforms and JUNOS Space monitoring platform.
• Infoblox IPAM/DHCP/DNS, knowledge of F5 BIP-IP LTM/GTM will be nice to see
• Experience in new SD-WAN and SD-Access networks will be a big advantage. (Preferred Velo SD-WAN and SD-access by Juniper MIST)
• Network monitoring/diagnostic equipment, interpretation of packet captures using Wireshark tool
• Expert with network documentation tools such as Visio...
• Strong knowledge of VOIP, and Convergence Technologies including QOS on LAN and WAN
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, and VRRP protocols
• Experience in programming and scripting tools/languages such as ansible and python with network modules for automation is a plus.
