The core function of Depositary Services is overseeing the assets and operations of the client.
The Depositary Manager is responsible for managing the Depositary Operations Group. In order to efficiently and effectively manage the operations of the Depositary, the Manager focusses in particular on goal setting, ensuring deliverables are met, organizing team’s work, people development, supporting senior management, risk management as well as information management.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As a Depositary Manager you will:
- Ensure team/group is achieving accuracy and meeting pre-determined deadlines per SLA
- Carry out responsibilities fairly and impartially; create and maintain an engaged work environment and ensure appropriate communications channels are in place
- Assist in developing and implementing new workflow approaches and methods as well as system enhancements
- Collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues
- Be a key point of contact for internal/external clients when urgent needs arise
- Have the authority to hire, discipline, control work and terminate employment for direct reports and broader team if needed
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff
- Be accountable and responsible for completing and delivering performance management on time
- Ensure procedure/regulations are met and escalate as needed
- Be a product expert for COE. Comprehensive and demonstrated knowledge of overall process and operating model is required.
- Identify all risk issues, breaches and suspicious transactions and act in accordance with the 'risk' framework/escalation chain and operating procedures
- Implement and communicate to staff the changes to the risk framework and/or escalation chain
- Measure, monitor and improve productivity – on individual as well as team level
- Perform related duties as assigned

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in finance, custody or fund administration would be recommended
