Your role
Are you interested in leading large software engineering teams to develop high-performance web applications using latest technologies? Do you want to own a large FX Single Dealer Platform and drive its technology roadmap?
We’re looking for a senior engineering lead to
•take full ownership of our award-winning FX Single Dealer Platform and set its technical direction to allow further business growth and meet enhanced stability and resilience targets
•manage teams of experienced React / JavaScript and Java / Kotlin developers
•build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
•drive the continuous modernization of the application and the wider platform
•partner with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize deliveries
•foster a culture of innovation and collaboration in the teams

Your team
You will be a member of the FX Linear technology management team working closely with our key global business partners to lead teams developing client and trading applications that are resilient, simplified and scalable.
Your expertise
You can demonstrate you can own and set the design and technical direction of the application suite as well as maintaining and enhancing it to meet future business requirements. The role will focus on the build out of the bank's strategic Single Dealer Platform for FX Cash Trading.
You have:
•experience in architecture and design of complex, high-performance web applications
•experience in managing large distributed software development teams
•JavaScript / React and/or Java development experience
•experience of working closely with stakeholders and ability to quickly understand the products and
services they offer.
•strong communication skills
•a passion for automating the software development lifecycle
