Your role
Do you enjoy working with projects and processes? Are you someone who likes a challenge and is willing to explore an emerging area of Risk Control on Algorithmic trading models?
Are you a team-player, blending business management with execution excellence to ensure best in class Algo model risk management is achieved in an efficient and compliant manner?
We are looking to hire someone who can:
•contribute to the definition and extension of model validation practices to the new area of algorithmic and electronic trading models, such as Equities for Equity Algo and FX/Rates for Fixed Income Algo
•analyse data from data warehouses within Algo trading model validation area
•gather and translate business requirements on Algo model validation business management, define solutions and own these solutions through to implementation
•learn about how Algo model validation data is reported and managed
•become a subject matter expert on translating Algo validation data into meaningful, comprehensive management data reports and dashboards
•work closely with global Algo validation team members on the validation project management
•work closely with Algo trading quants, IT, market risk control, and trading on Algo model governance.
Your team
You will be part of our Model Risk Management & Control (MRMC) Risk Models function in Kraków on a permanent basis and will work closely with electronic trading stakeholders including quants, IT developers and traders as well as other control functions. You will work in a collaborative environment to find effective and efficient solutions to the business management needs of Algo model validation.

Your expertise
•strong communication skills, be co-operative and team-orientated, while being able to self-motivate and organise individual tasks independently
•proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
•previous business management experience working in a similar role within the banking industry or IT/Tech Firms
•strong MS Office skills, while basic knowledge of Python coding and other general purpose programming languages will be welcome
•knowledge of banking regulation on model governance will be of added advantage
•to be forward looking with robust problem-solving skills and capable of building new processes for long-term solutions.
