Your role
As a Senior Software Developer, you'll design/implement software solutions based on customer needs and requirements. Our team of WWS developers work together to build and support our web-based software applications as well as new Mobile Platform. Senior Software developer play an active role in the evolution of the product. You’ll have the opportunity for rapid growth within a fast growing, high-tech, oil and gas software provider. No two days are the same - you'll never stop learning and growing. You'll have the autonomy to make important decisions while receiving support and guidance along the way. You bring your intelligence, creativity, and curiosity; we'll teach you the rest.

• Requirements*
• Bachelor's degree (computer science, software engineering, computer & information systems)
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Highly adaptable, capable of learning new technologies and APIs
• Strong Computer Science foundation (algorithms) and some DB (any Sybase, Oracle, SQLserver)
• Highly adaptable, capable of learning new technologies and APIs
• Proficiency with agile methods, Git/GitLab or continuous integration
• Knowledge of the HTTP protocol as well as web services written in REST or equivalent technologies
• Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Java, and iOS
Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript/React.js
• Understanding of good unit and functional test writing, preferably using RSpec and Cucumber
• Experience with Open Source Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Build Mgmt: e.g. Hudson/Jenkins, Maven, Ant
