Are you an experienced program and project manager with a passion to drive the transformation of the financial industry towards a more sustainable and impactful future? Do you possess both strong management skills and change management experience with an ambition to develop and reliably deliver strategic ESG initiatives? Do you thrive when tasked with setting up and managing a complex, firm-wide organization working with a range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization?
We are looking for a Program and Project Manager for the UBS Sustainability and Impact Institute to drive the day-to-day and strategic development of the Institute going forward. Your role would include:

• Support the strategic development of the Institute as well as acting as an internal advisor to decision makers and serve as a relationship manager for our high-profile external partners und internal stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate activities internal to the Institute, including legal and regulatory issues, content pipeline management and process definition, thereby ensuring seamless content delivery
• Work closely with the different business units across the organization to maximize both the efficiency and impact of the Institute
• Drive the external impact of our thought leadership forums, white papers and other sustainability and impact content by collaborating closely with activation and marketing personnel
• Support senior management in preparing communication and reporting activities
• Engage stakeholders and your personal network at all levels of the organization to ensure maximum impact and timely resolution of open issues

In this role you will be navigating the challenges and driving the impact of the UBS Sustainability and Impact Institute. Our global team of ESG and research experts and economists has the ambition to establish UBS as the leader on sustainability and impact within the financial services industry by providing our clients with best in class thought leadership and offering a comprehensive exchange forum that leverages the expertise of leaders to explore the most critical issues and trends related to the future of sustainability. We aim to elevate the conversation about sustainability to make it a core element of the advice and guidance that we provide to our clients.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or equivalent required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, including a strong background in operational management and strategic development
• self-directed, outcome-oriented, hardworking and collaborative team player and credible leader
• a strong understanding of the workings of financial institutions and an interest in and passion for ESG
• business focused manager able to work independently and across a broad range of topics, and with a diverse network of internal and external partners, and across various cultures
• able to deliver on targets also in an extended home-office setup
• skilled communicator and networker
