Your role

•Set and apply best development practices and standards,
•master and utilize state-of-the-art technologies within UBS products
•design for today's requirements and care about future evolution of the systems,
•cooperate with UBS Software Labs communities which give an opportunity to develop skills as well as share your knowledge and experiences with others.

Your team

Overdrive is a new bank program to reimagine wealth management in the US. It will allow UBS to deepen relations with existing clients and source new clients by extending and customizing product portfolio tailored to the individual needs.
It is a very big initiative, changing the way how bank operates on the market.
This challenge requires redesigning and reimplementing bank system to support new business model.

Your expertise

You have:
•4+ years of UI development experience
•Hands on experience in: HTML 5, CSS 3, CSS preprocessors (Less, Sass), JavaScript: ES5, ES6, ES7, React (starting from version 15+), TypeScript, Styled Components, JS Testing libraries: Jest, React Testing libraries: Enzyme, RTL, State management: Redux, Module bundlers: Webpack, VCS: GIT, Design Patterns
•Hand on experience in backend integration background using REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs
•Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities
•Experience with the full software development life cycle: waterfall and agile methodologies

Nice to have:
•Knowledge and experience of CI/CD, DB or Java is a plus
•Experience using Node.js
