Control & Reporting Senior Associate with Greek

Job Overview

In this role you will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and sector reports, perform monthly closing activities in accordance with PepsiCo reporting rules and deliver base business priorities to sustain effective control environment. The role entails interaction with the business units’ control teams and outsourced delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all fixed assets-related activities and treasury accounting for a dedicated Business Unit
  • Preparing and submitting timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reports
  • Participating with short and long-term Cash Flow planning, preparing monthly variance analysis and reporting
  • Creating journal requests
  • Performing all cost accounting activities during month-end and annual closing
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts - identifying and investigating all variances and ensuring that they are resolved timely
  • Preparing variance explanations of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
  • Coordinating and preparing quarterly Balance Sheet Review
  • Preparing various statistical declarations
  • Maintaining financial controls
  • Supporting and providing input for corporate audits

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education
  • Work experience 1+ years in Finance department (experience in General Ledger/Reporting will be a huge asset)
  • Fluency in English
  • Greek at least on B2 level
  • Experience of Financial Reporting Systems and Databases e.g., SAP/ Oracle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and / or IFRS and / or local GAAP
  • Ability to integrate well within a team environment
  • Action and result oriented, attentive to deadlines
