Job's Mission:

Stryker is implementing a transformative program focused on optimizing the Finance function to support business growth, functional scalability and empowers our Finance talent to focus on value-added work that aligns to his/her strengths.

Blackline Analyst will report to Global Blackline Business Administrator. This role will be responsible for supporting the deployment, adoption, and optimization of the BlackLine application globally. Also, it will be responsible to provide support to the operation on a daily basis consult with and support business partners, end-users (Enterprise Accounting, Finance, Operations) and the IT team on a regular basis.

Operations Management:

  • Performs Business Local Admin functions in the BlackLine application. This may include troubleshooting application issues, fulfill business requests and assists with special projects.
  • Update application settings, table maintenance (run data imports)
  • Serve as back up for Global Business System Admin functions
  • Support BlackLine training efforts as new users are onboarded to the tool
  • Execute metrics and performance strategy, driving measurable business results and tracking adoption of BlackLine
  • Accountable for all process standards relating to BlackLine: data, reporting, systems security, compliance, financial controls, change management and process excellence
  • Responsible for ensuring users and the total organization achieves success as defined by the leadership team

Education:

  • Technical degree or at least 2 years of university studies, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Industrial engineering and/or related field
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required. Spanish is a plus

Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant working experience in international companies (preferably American or Multinational company) with exposure to various ERP systems.
  • 2+ years of BlackLine experience required, ideally a mix of experience in roles such as Blackline Local and/or Business administrator
  • Previous experience in Accounting and Reporting is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, configuration and navigation skills across BlackLine modules (specifically on Accounts, Journals and ICH) Tasks and Matching is a plus.
  • Adequate use of the MS Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
  • Good written and verbal and interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  • SAP S4 Hanna experience is an advantage

  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills
